On Friday, September 22, the 19th National Conference on Fracture Mechanics ended.
The highlight of the short closing ceremony was the announcement of the awards.
Individual awards went to:
- Julita Krassowska from the Białystok University of Technology — individual award
- Kayode Olaleye from Wrocław University of Science and Technology — outstanding contribution
A collective award
- SIReL - Structural Integrity Research Laboratory — a group of young researchers (Doctorate Researhers, and PhD students, and MSc students) led by Prof. José A.F.O. Correia from the University of Porto
